All Good Things.....

At just after midnight on day 3 of filming, things were being packed up and the Depp-mania appeared to be leaving our sleepy town. I am really proud of not only the support the people around here showed for all involved, but I'm also proud (and slightly astonished) at how well behaved the crowds were. This has been a really neat experience for all involved I'm sure. Crown Point got some great publicity, the citizens here got some serious excitement in their back yards, and Johnny Depp got to channel his character in the exact place that the original events took place. It has really been like someone waved a magic wand here. I seriously needed this. Some may be really fond of reality television, but I will take fantasy any day.

The top picture is one I took as a still from a video I shot of him leaving this evening. I'll post the video on myspace. I only wish I had shot it of him coming to my house to pick me up. ha ha

I took this pic of some of the awesome cars they had out for the shoot. I unfortunately kept missing any outside shooting, though I did watch them set up quite a bit, including making faux snow.
